Some images command your attention because of their focal depth and graphic composition. I love turning that sense of ‘hyper-real’ up occasionally.

It feels more like the intensity of a pencil drawing when I paint like this and it requires extreme concentration. After completing one of these paintings I free myself up by practicing more abstract work. I really enjoy switching between the different styles and it is something I am developing all the time.
